Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of financial modeling and quantitative analysis experience
- Bachelor’s degree or in finance, accounting or economics
Job Summary
As an Associate Finance Manager, you'll drive financial performance through detailed analysis and strategic insights. This includes preparation of budgets, reviewing of expenses, analysis of investment programs and other financial projects. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support this work, serving as the day-to-day finance specialist.
Responsibilities
- Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation and investments to make recommendations for action and/or to inform stakeholders.
- Aid in collecting, compiling, verifying and analyzing financial information and economic indicators so senior leadership has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different business areas to establish strategic goals and objectives for operational investments, primarily in technology, utilizing interpersonal skills to ensure alignment and adherence to deadlines.
- Monitor and track performance against established KPIs and associated spend, providing regular updates and actionable insights to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Analyze the financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions so senior leadership can evaluate alternatives against the organization's business objectives
- Evaluate industry, economic, financial and market trends to forecast the organization's short-, medium- and long-term financial and competitive position
- Report current or expected financial performance and create financial models to guide decision-making
- Aid in the preparation of in-depth evaluations of plans and identify new methods of analysis and presentation
- Mentor the team on performance, processes and day-to-day tasks
- Lead basic special projects
