Position Title: Senior Workday Product Manager
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Workday Product Manager to lead a small team in driving the strategy, development, and execution of our Workday product suite. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and deep domain knowledge in either HR or finance systems. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring our Workday solutions align with business objectives, deliver exceptional user experiences, and continuously evolve to meet the changing needs of our organization.
Reporting to the CIO, the incumbent is a leader who works with staff and senior management within IT and within Cross Insurance. The Senior Product Manager interfaces closely with business stakeholders to understand and influence the business strategy and create a corresponding information technology strategies and roadmaps.
This incumbent brings an entrepreneurial spirit, independent and creative thinking, and leadership through collaboration and influence.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals and priorities.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather and prioritize product requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage your technical background to make informed decisions about product features, integrations, and configurations.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on product progress and performance.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to measure product success, identify areas for improvement, and inform future development decisions.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance our Workday solutions.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Workday and other relevant vendors.
Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on HR or finance systems.
- 5+ years of experience with Workday, preferably in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading successful product launches and delivering measurable results.
- Desirable:
- Workday Pro certification.
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, financial services).

- Strong technical acumen, with a deep understanding of Workday architecture and functionality.

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
