JOB SUMMARY:
The Rental Fleet Maintenance Manager will monitor, and control rental fleet policies, procedures and expenses occurred from a repair and maintenance. Some responsibilities will include executing training requirements, handling responsibility for all shop and field related service expenses pertaining to the CRS fleet, and review repairs coming into shop location.
COMPETENCIES:
- General technical service skills, or mechanical aptitude.
- Must be organized and can coordinate programs and logistics associated with the programs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Some computer and software skills are required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 10 years of experience in the construction equipment industry is required.
- Knowledge and understanding of equipment necessary for a rental fleet, as well as operations, sales, service, and systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, service link, and DBS is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
