What You Will Do
The Electronics Technician performs a variety of complex technical tasks to support the Utility Control Systems business unit. These tasks revolve around the repair, overhaul, modification, test, diagnosis and inspection of aerospace electronic and electro-mechanical components and assemblies.

What You Will Do
The Electronics Technician performs a variety of complex technical tasks to support the Utility Control Systems business unit. These tasks revolve around the repair, overhaul, modification, test, diagnosis and inspection of aerospace electronic and electro-mechanical components and assemblies.
Primary Responsibilities
- Test, evaluate and troubleshoot aerospace electronic and electro-mechanical components and assemblies.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Read Component Maintenance Manual to identify test procedures.
- Create rework/repair Work Instructions.
- Keep records of maintenance and test work.
- Work under limited supervision.
- Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
Skills and Abilities:
- Broad technician skills and abilities of electrical & mechanical assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting and testing.
- Capability to interface skillfully and technically with Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service Administration and customers.
- Basic knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials such as Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, engineering drawings, etc.
- Read and understand schematic and assembly drawings.
- Ability to proficiently set-up and use all testing and inspection equipment, from basic oscilloscope and digital multimeter to complex and specialized lighting equipment.
- Highly motivated and possessing effective oral/written communication and interpersonal / team skills.
Education and Experience
- AA/AS degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other training preferred.
- Experience with digital and analog electronics and general hands-on mechanical experience preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in electronics preferred.
