We have partnered with our client in their search for a Technical Program Manager, with data platform and data-focused program management experience within the Financial Services industry!
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including, but not limited to project plan creation, project kickoffs and internal status meetings, handling timeline, budget, achievements and deliverables
- Work with project team to identify project risk, plan for risk response and mitigation and proactively monitor project risks and resolutions
- Strategic partner for business and technology team members to broker decisions, project trade-offs and ensure successful delivery of project
- Support PI planning sessions
- Use and support the development of PMO templates, standard methodologies, and training to the organization to improve current processes
- Experience successfully leading programs with multiple workstreams to program completion within asset management
- Experience working closely with technologists, understanding modern data storage and data integration tools
- Experience and deep understanding of the asset management industry particularly around business investment manufacturing data
- Integrating the business strategy and knowledge of software capabilities (current and future) into vision and direction for all projects
- Participating in technology/solution decisions with architecture and product teams for projects, to include ensuring that technical design, unit testing, deployment, and implementation requirements are accurately documented
- Collaborating with team members and partners to ensure business and functional requirements are available to the team for execution
- Demonstrate understanding of, contribute to, and communicate the product's vision to the team, from the point of view of the customer, end-user, or partner.
Skills Required
- Experience managing and leading delivery of product development-based programs and/or strategy-based programs, and develop strategic program plans - Specifically with data and data platform programs.
- 5 or more recent years of Asset Management / Investment Management industry experience
- Effective communicator (written and verbal); effectively communicating project status, risks, scope, etc. to clients and strong decision-making, facilitation skills, and drive collaboration across teams
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and experience to drive decision making, understand and challenge scope, business requirements and technical design and present content succinctly and professionally to stakeholders and various levels of management
- Proven experience with leading projects in an Agile (Scrum) and/or SAFe framework
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Visio
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of relevant work experience
Location: Hybrid in Dallas, Texas

Pay Rate: $55-$65/hour
