Position: Senior Database Developer (DB2) 

We are seeking two highly skilled Senior Database Developers with extensive experience in DB2 database development. Our company values innovation and is dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive business success. You will be working on a highly visible ERP Modernization Project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain DB2 databases on the IBM iSeries platform.
- Write and optimize SQL code for database applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, security, and availability of databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Document database architectures, code, and processes.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in database development.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in DB2 database development.
- Proficiency in SQL coding within the DB2 environment.
- Familiarity with RPG programming, with a preference for candidates who focus on SQL coding.
- Experience with IBM iSeries.
- Knowledge of modern programming languages, such as Python, is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment:
- Flexible work arrangement with a preference for three days in the office.
- Open to remote work for highly qualified senior candidates who meet all requirements outside of the Houston area
