Key Responsibilities
-
Assists with the training of Office Assistant Staff
-
Subject Matter Expert on Office Assistant operations/procedures/processes
-
Point of contact for Office Assistant regarding questions, concerns and guidance with Office Assistant operations, procedures, and processes
-
Responsible for inventory management
-
Schedules appointments with awareness of insurance, provider, and location for virtual and on-site appointments
-
Greet and interact with patients in a professional manner, virtually or on-site in order to collect required demographic and financial information. Processes/verifies referral information and eligibility for insurance reimbursement as needed.

Collects payments according to insurance requirements
-
Verifies insurance coverage & coordinates referrals
-
Performs day end reconciliation of appointments & payments received.

Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

High School Graduate or Equivalent
-
2 years’ experience in a medical office practice setting is required; 3 years’ experience is preferred.
