The Retail Sales Account Specialist will report into the Retail Sales team and will be a key role as part of our fast growing US Retail Team. This role is responsible for supporting our sales planning process through the creation of tools and resources to optimally plan our retail business. This role will provide insights & analytics to advise our retail sales strategy. We are looking for an individual with strong project management skills, an analytical and process oriented attitude, and bias for action in crafting retail sales solutions.
Essential Job Functions:

- Provide insights, analytics & recommendations to achieve internal goals with the retail sales strategy team.
- Support business analysis and deriving insights & action plans from the data.
- Leverage syndicated and internal data to create sales reporting capabilities to manage the health of the retail business.
- Create planning tools and processes that can help enable the account management team to manage their business.
- Elevate the post promotional analysis process to the next level for US Retail,while leveraging insights to optimize trade spend.
- Provide support to Account Managers to ensure an accurate trade forecast is attainable from our Trade Planning Management System (TPM).
- Provide analysis to the sales planning lead to support effective deployment of trade budget to grow our business.
- Collaborate with Support sales forecasting process by collaborating with Account Managers and Demand Planning.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting on monthly trade accrual process.
Basic Qualifications:

- A bachelor’s degree and or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience working in CPG Retail (Trade, Category Mgmt, Planning, Revenue Management).
- Proficient with syndicated data and Microsoft Suite: (Circana, Nielsen, , Symphony).
- Strong analytical and statistical skills - we are looking for an individual that can process several data-points and simplify key takeaways to collaborators from a wide range of functions.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Account Management experience and CPG Financial competence are a plus.
- A scientific bias to solving problems: willingness to innovate vs. status quo, with resiliency in failing forward at times to find the next breakthrough.
- Excellent at handling several projects of varying lengths, with the ability to prioritize various work streams.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

$62,500 - $91,300 a year
This U.S. based, full-time position offers the above base salary range + equity + benefits + bonus for sales incentive plan roles. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
