General Engineer, AST, Human/Machine Systems (Direct Hire)

Duties

• Designs and conducts discovery sprints, user research, usability testing, and other engineering design activities that help teams generate implementable solutions and guide technical direction based on the outcomes.
• Designs concepts and products that deliver value to stakeholders and customers by leveraging emerging technology, methodologies, and trends found in the engineering industry.
• Performs needs analyses to define opportunities for new or matured concepts or products based on user needs.
• Leads or Co-Leads cross functional engineering teams that are geographically dispersed.
• Provides engineering insight and/or oversight of processes and methodologies related to systems design, human-centered design, design science, and innovation.
• Supports technical reviews including, but not limited to, examining review documentation, identifying risks, and providing input on findings, actions, or recommendations.
• Reviews and provides guidance on Program and Project engineering documentation including, but not limited to, project plans, change requests, contracts, and task agreements.
• Assesses projects and tasks to technically evaluate and identify risks, areas of concern, and possible mitigations.
