Key Responsibilities:

Technical Proficiency: Leverage advanced Excel skills to create and maintain complex financial models as well as analyze market data and serve as a bridge between the trading and technology teams, facilitating seamless communication and implementing model enhancements as appropriate.

Market Analysis and Insights: Utilize Bloomberg to extract real-time market data and integrate it into analytical models for better informed decision-making. Leverage comprehensive understanding of economic and market developments to produce insightful internal and client-facing commentaries, enriching understanding of CMBS markets within broader economic contexts.

Documentation and Settlement Tie-out: Oversee meticulous documentation and settlement tie-out processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Maintain precise data records and streamline trading desk workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments, serving as a key liaison between trading and internal/external teams.

Pre-trade Preparation and Execution: Assist in the meticulous pre-trade preparation of deal summaries and term sheets and post-trade documentation of Agency CMBS trades.

Adaptability and Multitasking: Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment by efficiently managing multiple priorities and wearing various hats as necessary. Demonstrate agility in responding to changing market conditions, as well as, internal and external party needs.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred. CFA designation, or working towards the CFA designation is a plus.

SIE Exam, Series 7 & 63 required within 120 days of employment.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities with ease.

Proven experience in financial operations, preferably within the Agency CMBS or fixed-income trading domain.

Proficiency in Excel and coding languages such as VBA, Python, or SQL, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain analytical tools.

Strong understanding of financial markets a must.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in easily digestible way.

Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Annual base salary gross: $85,000 - $100,000 (NY only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of the ORIX USA’s salary for this position. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX USA's total compensation package for employees.
