Co-op Project Engineer

• Industrial engineering assignments: time studies, quality management assistance
• Implement qualification/repair projects including coordination with all other internal and external stakeholders, engineering consultants, and contractors
• Provide input into the preparation or updating of design and procedural standards
• Investigate Corrective Action Reports and ensure corrective measures/processes are put in place with appropriate resolution, closure, and communication
• Provide general technical support and manage complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including third party customers
• Find inefficiencies in repair process, recommend solutions and process changes
• Research the development of equipment, tools, processes, and related materials in service centres, mobiles, and on-sites
• Coordinate and assist with cost savings initiatives (energy efficiency, waste management)
• Provide input or conduct research for special capital projects as required
• Find creative solutions for industry challenges and generate new ideas for improvement
