Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist National Account Managers in identifying market opportunities
- Analyze K-T-M businesses on a daily/weekly basis using IRI and customer systems such as Kroger Stratum/Market 6, Meijer dunnhumby, etc. to identify business opportunities
- Assist with the development of category review materials that will be leveraged to grow PCB and total category sales at K-T-M accounts
- Develop solutions with respect to product distribution, promotion, pricing, and shelf-placement
- Prepare clear and concise presentations to inform customers of business/consumer trends, existing opportunities and solutions for growth
- Consumption analytics in support of monthly forecast process
- Participate in various training activities to enhance job performance and personal growth
- Complete/attend all necessary information & technology training
- Assist other functional areas to develop business opportunities and provide information to customers (Cat Man, Sales, Finance, etc)
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
Experience
- 2 years of analytical and/or sales experience is required
- Consumer packaged goods experience required, pet experience is strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Syndicated sales data software experience is preferred (i.e. IRI or Nielsen)
- Experience with customer systems is preferred (one or more customers)
- Shelving software experience is a plus
