Title: Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach / Goalkeeper Coach
Position Summary:
Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach / Goalkeeper Coach position. This position will assist the Head Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Women's Soccer team.
Essential Functions:
· The assistant coach is responsible for the instruction and development of soccer technique and strategy, working specifically with goalkeepers
· Assist with recruitment of student-athletes
· Assist with travel planning
· Assist with equipment maintenance
· Additional duties to further the mission and success of Duke Women’s Soccer
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required
· 3+ years coaching experience at the Division I or professional level required
· A commitment to knowing and complying with NCAA, ACC, and institutional rules.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability:
· Ability to work with a diverse population
· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
· Knowledge of intercollegiate sports operations
· Ability to travel extensively during the recruiting process
· Ability to work in a highly dynamic and diverse university setting

Education
Work generally requires analytical, communications and organizational skills acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.
