Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Manager in New York, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Manage advisory information technology project and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Manage the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Ensure that the design is transformed into code components as per design patterns and architectural principles by performing code reviews and unit test walkthroughs. Manage the information technology project implementation of data enrichment, lookup, filtering and data cleansing routines and solutions to improve data quality of the ingested data. Perform performance tuning of the components to meet the performance requirements. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have three years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and five years of progressive related work experience. Position requires three years of related work experience in each of the following:

• Guiding teams utilizing Tableau, Microsoft (MS) Power BI, DBeaver, and Oracle SQL Developer to generate insights leveraging on-premise, web, and cloud-based platforms;
• Guiding teams that perform data management, including master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data modeling while utilizing Oracle, Teradata SQL Assistant, and Apache Hadoop Distributed File Systems (HDFS);
• Guiding teams that work to provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools, including SAS Enterprise Miner, Oracle Data Mining, and Python to produce analysis and algorithms;
• Formulating and creating functional and non-functional specification documentation for product development and roadmaps, business process reengineering, business modeling, analytical and business rules definition, data architecture, and user interface and experience utilizing Jira, GitHub, ZenHub, Wrike, Quip, and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM);
• Improving data discovery, sourcing, modeling and analytics by defining process mapping, decision mapping and data governance to support the creation of data flows and models with IBM Cognos, Tableau, MS Excel, and MS Power BI; and
• Coordinating complex engagements with relevant data management consulting in master data, metadata, data architecture, data conversion, data governance, and data quality in IBM Cognos, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Tableau, MS Excel, and MS Power BI.

Annual Salary: $175,947.00-$253,000.00
