Job Summary/Basic Function: |
The Capital Access Team Business Consultant plays a crucial role in helping small business clients, particularly socially and economically disadvantaged entrepreneurs, prepare for successful access to capital. This position focuses on coaching and advising clients on financial preparedness, loan packaging, cash flow management, and overall financial strategy to ensure they are positioned to secure funding from banks, lenders, or other financial institutions. The consultant will not perform financial tasks for clients but will instead empower and educate them on best practices, enabling long-term success and self-sufficiency. This position is hybrid-eligible. Work can be performed from an alternative work location anywhere in the state of Idaho near one of our regional offices. |

The Idaho SBDC offers a network of six regional centers to serve the needs of Idaho’s small businesses and entrepreneurs. The Idaho SBDC provides professional, no-cost, confidential consulting to businesses across Idaho to help them grow and thrive. |

Fully competent and productive professional contributor who applies acquired job skills, policies, and procedures to complete substantive assignments/projects/tasks of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with general supervision; exercises judgment within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees. |

Salary and Benefits: |
Salary is $30/hour and is commensurate with experience. This position is non-benefit eligible. |
