Seer is a remote first agency and with team members working across the country. If an office environment is more your style, this position can also sit in Philadelphia or San Diego. We can only consider candidates based in the US who are able to work continental US based hours.

The Role: As the CRO Team Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing high-impact strategies to enhance website conversion rates within our Creative Services division. You will work closely with a cross-functional team, collaborating with both clients and internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize optimization opportunities. With a strong analytical mindset and a results-oriented approach, you will oversee the development and implementation of data-driven solutions that drive measurable improvements in conversion rates across diverse digital marketing channels. Leveraging advanced analytical tools and methodologies, you will continuously refine our processes and ensure best-in-class performance for each client, positioning our team as a leader in the CRO field.
You’re passionate about using data to fuel business growth, diving into both quantitative and qualitative insights to uncover and overcome barriers to conversion. You thrive on collaboration, partnering closely with designers, content strategists, and other key stakeholders to craft a seamless user experience that drives results. Your approach combines UX insights and strategic copy techniques, all validated by rigorous A/B testing to ensure measurable success. While you don’t currently have direct reports, you may oversee work with vendor and contractor partners to support project needs and enhance outcomes.
Role Highlights
- Reporting directly to the Director of Creative Services, you’ll own, lead and execute high-impact CRO strategies, bridging data insights with creative solutions to drive measurable improvements in our clients' conversion rates. You’ll not only bring expert knowledge in conversion rate optimization but will also demonstrate strategic leadership and a commitment to delivering results
- Design and implement CRO strategies for diverse clients, tailoring initiatives to drive results aligned with their business goals.
- Oversee end-to-end experimentation, from research and planning to execution and analysis, ensuring each stage aligns with client objectives.
- Serve as a strategic partner, providing advanced guidance on CRO methodologies and tools, particularly for clients new to CRO.
- Lead A/B and multivariate testing on key digital assets, working closely with UX, UI, content strategists, and developers to enhance conversion.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to develop actionable insights, presenting findings in visually compelling decks for clients and teams.
- Collaborate with Creative Operations and Business Strategy teams to identify CRO opportunities and contribute to client pitches. This includes supporting and building slides for pitch decks, presenting strategy and scope to potential clients with confidence and clarity.
- Passionate about the potential of AI to drive smarter, faster insights. You are engaged in the AI landscape and willing to explore AI tools and methodologies to gain a deeper understanding of user behavior.
Essential Skills
- Proven success in leading strategic CRO initiatives with measurable conversion improvements.
- Significant client-facing experience in a digital marketing agency, skilled in managing complex relationships and guiding clients through impactful CRO programs.
- Expertise in A/B and multivariate testing, CRO tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target), research tools (e.g., Hotjar, Fullstory), and web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Skilled in communicating complex insights in clear, data-driven narratives.
- Active participant in CRO thought leadership, conferences, and networking events, staying well-informed on innovations and best practices in CRO and digital optimization. Able to translate these learnings into actionable strategies for Seer’s clients and the internal team.
90 Day Goals
- You’ve onboarded and established relationships with clients and senior stakeholders, understanding their CRO goals and business objectives.
- You’ve proposed and initiated enhancements to current CRO processes, creating efficiencies and setting a new standard for quality in the team’s work.
- You’ve actively contributed to at least one business development pitch, showcasing Seer’s CRO expertise and strategic value to prospective clients.
