Known is looking for a temp-to-perm Community Manager to join the Social practice, working with clients spanning consumer and entertainment brands. The Community Manager will be responsible for supporting social content ideation, copywriting, publishing, listen and response, and social measurement/reporting. A quality Community Manager will have exceptionally strong communication skills, a mastery of core social platforms, copywriting and time management skills, as well as immaculate attention to detail.
Candidates must be based in NYC and be available to attend in person work sessions/meetings with clients as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead community management for reputable brand clients, inclusive of monitoring, assessing and responding to social media mentions, replies and comments
- Drive social copywriting that embodies the brand’s tone and voice
- Support social content ideation in conjunction with creative teams
- Keep a pulse on current events, online trends and potential controversies or threats relevant to the brand
- Spearhead measurement and reporting with assigned clients
- Deliver insights to both client and internal teams to inform strategy
- Bridge the gap between strategy and creative teams, driving effective communication across both groups
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE/WHO YOU ARE
- You possess a demonstrated deep knowledge of key social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube
- You have exceptional communication and task management skills, helping teams anticipate consumer and account challenges early
- Your previous experience includes social publishing, copywriting, strategy, community management
- You have managed handles for reputable brands and proven their ability to do so while meeting/exceeding measurement metrics
- You are an innovative thinker and creative copywriter who can match tone and speak to audience demographics
- You are trustworthy, collaborative and enjoyable to work with
- You have a baseline knowledge of paid social media practices, including boosting of organic content across platforms
YOUR BACKGROUND INCLUDES:
- 2-5+ years of social media, community management or copywriting experience, preferably within a fast paced agency environment
- Undergraduate degree in copywriting, advertising, public relations or similar field
