The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer will be responsible for working with internal and external customers, gathering information, implementing information in a design and ensuring build completion for various ETO projects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 2+ years of relevant industry experience
Travel: 5%
Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks, ACADE, and Inventor as needed
- Reviews and understands customer project requirements and customer specifications.
- Prepares technical drawings, and electrical specifications to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements.
- Plans layout of electrical construction projects with direction from an upper-level Engineer.
- Prepares documentation for others to build assemble from.
- DFX DFA and DFM knowledge.
- Placing panels, transformers, and other electrical equipment with code compliance in mind.
- Cable tray sizing and routing.
- Sizing conduit, conduit fill, and routing.
- Create schedules and wiring diagrams for lighting install, receptacle connections, panel and transformer termination connections, motor and disconnect wiring.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
