Job Summary/Basic Function: |
This position is responsible for administering the project management lifecycle for projects including, but not limited, software implementation and upgrades, process improvement, and physical/network infrastructure. This position has overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of a project. |
Department Overview: |
The OIT Project Management Office (PMO) prioritizes, plans, and executes information technology projects on behalf of university stakeholders. We specialize in bringing together diverse project teams and OIT professionals to implement meaningful projects in an efficient, thoughtful manner. This position may have the opportunity to work remotely where all work is performed from an alternative work location either within or outside the State of Idaho. This position is NOT eligible for VISA sponsorship. |
Level Scope: |
Recognized subject matter expert who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field with limited oversight from managers. Independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; requires deep job knowledge of area typically obtained through higher education combined with experience. Manages large projects or processes and problems faced are difficult and often complex; analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and determines solutions. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy. Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures. |

Salary and Benefits: |
