Job Summary/Basic Function: |
The Online Course Technologist maintains fully online program master courses developed by program faculty and eCampus Center Course Design and Development teams to ensure they abide by university policies and federal guidelines. This position also consults with colleagues and online program partners about LMS function and structure, and program specifications, as well as performs maintenance updates to master courses, ensuring the course functions properly after the updates are made. This position may have the opportunity to work remotely where all work is performed from an alternative work location either within or outside the state of Idaho. |

May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support employees. |
Essential Functions: |
● Oversee the build and structure of online courses, ensuring all technologies function appropriately and work seamlessly together. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: |
● Ability to quickly obtain highly-functional skills in software and LMS systems, as well as be able to train others. |
Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: |
● At least 2 years of expert-level experience and knowledge of the Canvas learning management system. |
Salary and Benefits: |
