We are looking for a Senior Content Specialist to join our Biomedicine team in Barcelona.
If you hold a PhD in Life Sciences and have a deep understanding of the scientific literature, patents, clinical trials, FDA documents etc we are looking for you. You’ll be using your scientific expertise to ensure that the information is properly presented and organized following Editorial policies in Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- PhD in Life Sciences (Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biology, etc.).
- 5 years’ experience in a global corporate setting and with a strong knowledge of LS & H content.
It would be great if you also had the following:
- Involved in solving internal/external queries.
- Ability to analyze processes, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Capability to work remotely with peers in an international environment.
- Ability to delve deep into content and results
- Knowledgeable in SQL query language
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization.
- Good judgment in decision-making and priority setting.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Deep understanding of the scientific literature, patents, clinical trials, FDA documents etc., and should be able to take the ownership of Biomedicine policies.
- Uses scientific expertise to ensure that the information is properly presented and organized following Editorial policies in Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence.
- To address and resolve internal and external queries effectively.
- Work together with Product Operations, and Technology in the development process/product.
- Participate in the quality control process to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Initiate/support projects that can enhance content and processes.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for internal team on new policies/enhancements.
About the Team
- You’ll be reporting to the Team Manager, Content Editing, Biomedicine and join an international and diverse team of around 15 colleagues mostly based in Spain and India.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week), Hybrid going to our Barcelona central office (next to Sagrada Familia) 2-3 times per week.
