Role Summary
The Principal Cybersecurity Governance Manager, Project Management is responsible for project management within the Cybersecurity team. As an individual contributor, this role defines long-term strategy for cybersecurity project management and is responsible for overseeing multiple complex and technically critical projects. This individual is also responsible for developing reporting, dashboards and metrics for cybersecurity projects and driving efficiencies to improve project management and project visibility across the Cybersecurity team.
Key Duties

Owns the process for cybersecurity project management at Alaska Airlines.

Develops, implements, and maintains a project management methodology and process for the Cybersecurity team.

Reports on project status and identifies potential synergies or conflicts with other projects.

Understands Cybersecurity senior management’s strategy and provides project recommendations for cost effective solutions.

Develops project charters, plans, deliverables, and communications that require cross functional coordination including project plan, progress reports, presentations, and other documentation.

Takes initiative in consolidating solutions into an executive summary, detail status, and communications to various stakeholders.

Develops metrics, reporting and dashboards to effectively communicate project details such as project status, at risk projects, on-time project completion, etc.

Tailors communications to different audiences and stakeholders.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
-
7 years of experience in project management, IT security governance, information security, or related area.

Bachelor’s degree or an additional 2 years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.

Advanced knowledge of program management principles, practices, and tools.

Ability to lead complex program and project efforts to completion.
-
Ability to manage the dynamics of cross-functional project teams.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint.

High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Minimum age of 18.
-
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred
-
PMP.
-
Cybersecurity certification (CISA, CISSP, etc.).
-
Experience managing multiple projects and multiple project resources of moderate to high risk.

Working knowledge of the project life cycle.

Ability to react to project adjustments & alterations quickly and efficiently.

Ability to analyze, organize and simplify complex problems to develop practical solutions.

Familiarity with technology infrastructure as well as MS Office, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.

Salary Range
$136,100 - $204,100 / year
Salary Details
Pay will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Horizon employees. Alaska/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
