Role Summary
The Airport Lounge Hospitality Host is responsible for coordinating the setup of the food and beverage stations and maintains cleanliness and inventory of the Alaska Lounge.
Key Duties
Leads the setup of the Lounge complimentary food and beverage stations.
Prepares and arranges food; heating required foods to safe levels and maintaining by taking temperature.
Responsible for restocking self-service food and supplies as needed.
Manages the cleanliness of the lounge by wiping up spills, clearing and cleaning tables, and removing trash.
Washes service equipment and returns it to the proper location.
Properly packages unused food and returns it to the appropriate storage.
Cleans and maintains food service equipment such as automated coffee, soda and juice machines.
Supports concierges by cleaning up and serving drinks (including alcoholic beverages).
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Details
Our tattoo policy for this role is the following: No visible tattoos on face, front of neck, or chest. One tattoo the size of a quarter or smaller allowed per hand. Tattoos in other areas cannot be larger than a credit card or offensive. Employees can have one tattoo per arm/leg/foot/back of neck/behind each ear. Tattoos on the back of neck and behind the ears are only permitted if they’re not visible when looking directly at a person. Tattoos may only be covered with a uniform piece or approved jewelry/watch (covering with makeup is not allowed).
Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills
Required
Motivated to achieve excellent guest service.
Exceedingly organized and efficient with the ability to multitask.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests regarding food offerings and basic Lounge information.
Must be able to work independently.
Display knowledge in and follow at all times, sanitation and sanitary food handling.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be able to bend, squat, stoop, reach and grasp.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum age of 21
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
Must be able to obtain State Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Seller/Server Certification.
Preferred
Motivated to achieve excellent Guest Service.
1 Year hospitality/Guest Service experience.
Previous Airport Experience.
Airport SIDA Badge Requirements

Starting Rate
USD $17.73/Hr.
