Commerce Decisions, a Harris Computer company, are currently recruiting for a UK Public Sector Account Manager on a permanent basis. This position will be undertaken remotely and therefore can be performed from anywhere in the UK. On average, you can expect to be travelling to meet clients circa two times per week (depending on the businesses need) with some overnight stays.
This exciting Account Manager opportunity will allow you to work from home and travel across the UK, learn new technology and work with a reputable company backed by a knowledgeable team. The Account Manager will identify the needs of the customer, demonstrate the benefits of the software and present the Commerce Decision's solution portfolio to Public Sector organisations, growing the customer base as well as enhancing relationships with existing customers.
Position & Responsibilities
In performing this role your core duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Promoting and differentiating Commerce Decisions e-Evaluation solutions through customer-focused calls and meetings, using the wider teams support for demonstrations of AWARD and Professional Services.
- Working with the VPs and Head of Sales to lead, develop and execute strategies in relation to existing and target accounts.
- Pro-actively initiating and supporting campaigns to new and existing Accounts, including the generation of new leads and responding to in-bound enquiries.
- Working closely with the New Business team to convert new leads.
- Working with the Customer Success team, this role includes the management/supervision of existing accounts and the generation of upsell opportunities and account growth.
- Interfacing with all teams in Commerce Decisions, to ensure effective transition from pre- to post-sales project phases
- Attending customer sites, when required, to deliver presentations and demonstrations and to meet with customers and new leads.
- Participating in responses to formal Requests for Proposal and Invitations to Tender
- Attending conferences, exhibitions and events where appropriate.
- Acting as the primary contact for clients, overseeing all aspects of the client relationship including project oversight, communication, and client satisfaction.
