Job Summary: The ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow deployment, implementation, and integration, along with relevant certifications and training. This role requires in-depth knowledge of various ServiceNow components and a commitment to enhancing our IT service management capabilities.
This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
- Manage ServiceNow components including Incident, Problem, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, and Release Management.
- Ensure the effective integration of ServiceNow with other systems and platforms.
- Perform system upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, scripts, business rules, and UI policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement ServiceNow solutions that align with business objectives.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features, best practices, and industry trends
Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
- ITIL 4 Certification is required.
- Demonstrable knowledge of ServiceNow deployment, implementation, and integration.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow components such as Incident, Problem, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, and Release Management.
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow systems administration and support.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional ServiceNow certifications or training in specific modules.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting and development.
- Familiarity with IT service management processes and best practices
