Responsible for the coordination and management of volunteers and partner organizations to support recruitment of study participants. The primary focus of this role will be supporting the VOICES of Black Women Ambassador program, a volunteer opportunity to support enrollment efforts for the ACS VOICES of Black Women study. The Study Coordinator will support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, management, and retention of new ACS volunteers with the aim of amplifying recruitment efforts for the study.
***This is a hybrid role that will spend 3 days in our Atlanta office each week.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports new ACS volunteers throughout recruitment and onboarding process, including support for access to the ACS Volunteer Community for required training.
- Maintains documentation of all volunteer processes in Salesforce.
- Coordinates virtual volunteer engagement opportunities (e.g., webinars, lunch and learns).
- Prepares communication updates for study volunteers.
- Manages and leads volunteer communication, including requests for support, and solicits feedback to strengthen the volunteer program.
- Identifies opportunities for volunteer recruitment to amplify study recruitment efforts. Represents research studies at relevant conferences, meetings, and events to identify/recruit volunteers and/or study participants.
- Maintains and updates recruitments resources for volunteers on SocietySource and MySocietySource. Prepares, maintains, and updates tools to support study volunteer recruitment, development, and retention to be shared across ACS.
- Supports study operations team to collect volunteer contact information to ship recruitment materials.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

- Occasional travel within the United States as needed to support enrollment efforts (approximately 10% of time).
