Job Summary: The Athletic Operations Coordinator provides administrative support to the coaching staff and athletic programs as assigned. Manages recruiting activities, visits made by prospective student-athletes, arrangements for all home and away contests, and promotional activities. Ensures compliance with University, SEC and NCAA guidelines.
Additional Department Summary: Provides comprehensive operational support including coordinating events, managing budgets, assisting with travel logistics, and supporting player development initiatives.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher.
Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in desktop publishing software, budget management tools, and office productivity suites. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with prospective student-athletes, parents, alumni, donors, guests, and fans.
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of NCAA regulations.
