What You’ll Do:
As a Senior UX Researcher at Spotter, you will lead comprehensive UX research initiatives, influencing the product roadmap by deeply understanding user behaviors and needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research aligns with business objectives and adapts to stakeholder feedback. Additionally, you will design and implement research methodologies, provide actionable insights, and stay updated with the latest UX research trends to continuously enhance our processes.
- Lead UX research initiatives from kickoff planning to identifying needs, methodology development, data collection, synthesizing feedback, and reporting insights
- Apply deep knowledge of product thinking to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations, impacting the product roadmap throughout all stages of development.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring research aligns with business objectives and adjusting findings based on stakeholder feedback.
- Create and implement research plans that align with business goals, addressing key questions and challenges.
- Design and implement generative and evaluative research methodologies, with a strong understanding of the rationale and tradeoffs for choosing different methods.
- Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights that guide product design and development.
- Create comprehensive reports and present findings to diverse audiences, tailoring communication styles to meet the needs of different stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest UX research methodologies and trends, applying best practices to enhance research processes and outcomes.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to conduct impactful research that drives product decisions.
- Proven experience in scoping, designing, and executing studies using methodologies such as 1:1 interviews, concept testing, usability testing, and surveys.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across departments, promoting a culture of guidance and collaboration.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present research findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality results on time.
- Ability to conduct international research and understand cultural differences that may impact user interactions and preferences.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The overall market range for roles in this area of Spotter are typically: $100-$500K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual discretionary bonus and equity.
