Responsibilities
- Demonstrate responsibility and accountability in selecting, assembling, testing, and operating equipment and instruments by policies and procedures.
- Accountable for performing as a primary Surgical Tech handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure while applying principles of sterile technique.
- Contribute to expected patient outcomes by following policies, procedures, and established standards.
- Ensure all equipment needed for procedures is disinfected, assembled, and functioning properly.
- Order, replenish, and take inventory of supplies and other surgical supplies as needed.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technology Program
- Certified through the NBSTSA
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active BLS certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- One year of Surgical Technology experience
