ACCOUNT MANAGER

General Summary:

As an Account manager you will be expected to manage and grow a portfoili of existing customers, build strong relationships with them and be a first line representative of Covetrus. You will be expected to cross sell and up sell to your existing client base by utilizing your in depth understanding of the market and show casing how our product suite meets these requirements. Furthermore you will be tasked with identifying high growth accounts for our Key Account Managers and assisting them in increasing revenue within these accounts

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Proactively engage with our existing customer base with a view to increasing revenue. This is typically a phone based approach, though Face to Face engagements may occasionally be required

· Cross sell and upsell within your territory of clients to maximise revenue potential from existing customer base.

· Maintain strong relationships with our customers and meet retention targets.

· Update and maintain Salesforce with key contact details and account information

· Manage pipeline and accurately forecast in line with business expectations. Support and systems are provided to help manage this process.

· Collaborate internally to ensure the feedback from the market is being reflected in the product enhancements. This includes, but is not limited to Product, Account Management and Marketing.

· When required, attend conferences, trade shows and client meetings and represent Covetrus in order to build brand awareness.

Experience and Skills

· Evidence of strong negotiation skills.

· Demonstrable track record of meeting & exceeding targets.

· B2B sales experience

· Previous experience in the Veterinary profession is ideal, but not essential.
