POSITION: Campus Support Teacher
GRADE LEVEL: Middle or High School
LOCATION: Hiring at multiple locations.
SALARY: $52,000 salary. We also offer a for anyone joining us from 75 miles or more from Denver!
STATUS: Full time school year, benefits eligible, exempt, in-person position

A PATHWAY INTO TEACHING
We realize that the lack of a Bachelor's Degree prevents great potential teachers from entering the classroom. Join our DSST team as a Campus Support Teacher (no degree required) and gain valuable hands on learning experience while earning your Bachelor's Degree (cost-free!) through our . KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Campus Support Teachers play an integral part in the success of our community by filling in where needed at the different DSST campuses. This could look like long term coverage for a teacher on leave, short term daily classroom coverage, or even just additional support for another teacher in a classroom. In this role you will:
Use data to analyze and drive your daily practice.
create learning environments to support students in owning their learning & academic success.
Model and maintain high expectations for all learners
Engage in feedback sessions with an instructional coach.
Seek out and request opportunities for growth and continuous self-improvement in teaching, both in and out of the classroom.
Engage in constructive dialogue with students, colleagues, and school administration.
Actively support and participate in the school’s professional development programs
Support the school’s core values and policies inside and outside the classroom with colleagues, students, parents, and the larger community.
Perform additional duties as assigned such as supporting student recruitment, running a small group advisory class, after school tutoring, etc. See many of our possible duties.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
No prior experience or education level required.
