What you'll do
- Develop strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels in alignment with service level objectives and inventory targets.
- Analyze industry trends and best practices, and conduct external benchmarking to identify opportunities for improving inventory management practices.
- Create new methods and procedures for inventory optimization based on emerging trends and industry-leading practices.
- Collaborate with the Supply Planning team to implement inventory strategies effectively and provide support throughout the implementation process.
- Recommend and drive strategies and tactics to Supply Planning for continuous improvements in inventory management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of inventory performance metrics to identify areas
- for improvement and opportunities for optimization.
- Work closely with various teams including Supply Planning, Procurement, Demand Planning, Product Management, Finance, and Logistics to enhance inventory levels and streamline supply chain efficiency through cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop inventory projections and classifications, including active, slow-moving, and obsolete projections, to inform inventory strategy and decision-making processes.
- Monitor warehouse capacity and utilization levels.
- All other responsibilities as deemed necessary by management.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Analytics.
- Understanding of SAP ERP System data structures, Supply Chain data, and related transactional processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative strategies and solutions to optimize inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once; experience leading projects with cross-functional team members in a high-complexity environment
