Under the direction of a Senior Consultant or Manager, the Consultant II will develop and implement solutions for clients that are either consultative or technical in nature that provide improvements to the client’s business processes and information technology. They will be self- managed for short periods and interface regularly with clients and others outside of Wipfli. In this position, the Implementation Consultant will be an advisor on the Wipfli EMRConnect application and will support clients in the healthcare industry on its proper usage.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Link the client requirements around healthcare data integrations to standard solutions and service offerings with guidance from senior team members.
- Be the technical contact for the Sage Intacct/Wipfli EMRConnect solution - assisting clients and other consultants with implementations.
- Learn the application and be an advisor on how it works.
- Translate client requirements Into solution configurations.
- Support the collaboration between engineering teams and other stakeholders when It comes to new features, functionality, and tweaks to the application.
- Maintain an understanding of the EHR/EMR vendor marketplace and best practices.
- Thoroughly document work with clear explanations to illustrate understanding of concepts.
- Informs project team leaders of cost, quality and schedule risks related to the scope of their portion of the engagement.
- Monitors own time and budget on projects and communicates overages and availability in advance.
- Keeps current on technical and functional issues and attempts to apply them to client circumstances.
- Mentors Consultant I’s in their development into Consultant II’s.
- Supports the sales process by being aware of sales opportunities for add-ons and escalating Information when needed to determine scope of services to aid in solving client needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years of work experience in a professional services firm and 2+ years in healthcare related technical data integration area.
- Works toward obtaining additional appropriate certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Training, support or consulting advisory experience
- Experience with compliance or professional standards associated with area of expertise.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines
- Ability to quickly and appropriately responds to unexpected events or changing schedules, demands, and priorities.
- Ability to balance many projects simultaneously
- Ability to get Involved In projects aligned within industries of Interest and select an Industry of focus
- Excellent Written, Verbal and Presentation skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio
