Primary Duties

Responsible for supporting duties as assigned for Facility Maintenance, Grounds, Inventory/Warehouse, Loading Dock Freight and Material Handling.

Responsible for performing basic rough and finish carpentry work and prepares various surfaces for paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, or stain or repairs wall coverings. Assist with repair on doors, locks, hinges, ceiling tiles and other facility maintenance.

Perform as Backup for Mail Handling Operations.

Responsible for responding in a timely manner to scheduled/unscheduled tenant requests for a variety of maintenance issues.

Assists as an overall Site Maintenance support specialist while performing duties as assigned.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities

Report to supervisor any damaged racks, faulty equipment, or other safety hazard.

Maintains a clean, neat orderly work area.

May perform or assist in warehouse, grounds and equipment maintenance as required.

Assist in all Freight and Material Handling as needed.

Complies and coordinates with all Dock master policies and procedures.

Comply with OSHA guidelines Participate in all other training required by funding source(s) and/or the Corporation such as Human Rights training.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent is required.

Minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience in carpentry and painting Preferred.

Prior experience providing maintenance and repairs of buildings preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos, labels and numbers.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Basic ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office software.

Ability to learn Bear Tracks Mail handling software.
-
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and divide.

Must be able to pass criminal and drug screening processes to meet current network and/or government legibility requirements that apply or become applicable to this position.
