About the Role:
Trace3 is looking for talented engineers and architects to join our growing consulting practice. In this role, you will help our clients adopt DevOps practices in the cloud and on-premise, embrace a DevOps mindset, and implement technical solutions that drive towards rapid delivery of services and products to customers. You will act as an expert and trusted advisor within our clients’ organizations, providing guidance on modernizing and automating their infrastructure and applications.
What You’ll Do:
- Assess, design, implement, and remediate CI/CD pipelines to meet leading-edge practices.
- Implement DevOps CI/CD solutions such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Terraform, and integrate with other RESTful API services.
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and build processes
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps automation scripts
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure DevOps pipelines and builds
- Create and maintain Azure DevOps dashboards
- Design and implement Azure DevOps security policies
- Manage Azure DevOps source control repositories
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps release processes
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps test automation
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps deployment automation
- Implement and maintain Azure DevOps monitoring and alerting
- Design and implement Azure DevOps CI/CD processes
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps infrastructure as code
Qualifications & Interests:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience with current operating system administration (Examples: Windows, Linux, Ubuntu and RHEL) especially focused on identity, security, and monitoring.
- 2 years of experience with Azure DevOps. Other tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Harness, AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, Spinnaker, Octopus, etc are a plus
- 2 years of experience developing and releasing (via CI/CD) .NET applications. Azure functions and/or Kubernetes (AKS) services experience is a big plus.
- 2 years of experience with PowerShell.
- Software development or scripting experience in a professional environment with Agile, Scrum, Kanban practices, including using source control, branching and merging processes, check-in/check-out and peer review of code.
- 1 year of experience developing/scripting using RESTful APIs. Experience creating RESTful APIs is a big plus.
- Experience with software version control (Git) including branching and merging strategies.
- 2 years of hands-on Terraform experience.
- Responsible for uptime of mission-critical production applications.
- Ability to work with both Client and Internal teams using a collaborative demeanor.
- Experience with APIs to perform third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with IP networking concepts such as VPN, DNS, load balancers, and firewalling is a big plus.
