What We Need
-
Experience in the design assessment of steelwork structures to withstand dynamic loads including earthquake motions, blast, wind, rain and snow loading.

Experience working on steelwork marine structures and jetties.

Experience of producing robust technical justification to allow for relevant structural design modifications to be authorised within a high hazard industry.

Apply appropriate theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate, maintain, decommission and re-cycle engineering processes, systems, services and products in a nuclear/high risk environment.

Use a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge and understanding to apply existing and emerging technology.
Security Requirements
You must have, or be eligible for, SC clearance.

This position is hybrid with the opportunity to be onsite (Helensburgh) or at home.
There is an opportunity for this role to be conducted fully remotely with occasional site visits.
