Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Requires working knowledge/background of information systems, operations, and maintenance.
- Establish and maintain a high degree of professional working relationships with customers, employees, supervisors, and project managers, including Air Force and Contractor personnel.
- Initiate requests, coordinate, support and provide status of all depot repair activities.
- Provide Depot Level Repair training to maximize expertise/capabilities.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, system interconnects drawings utilizing Air Force Technical Orders and commercial off the shelf manuals.
- Familiar with test equipment such as: Analog/digital multi-meter, O-Scope, network analyzer, protocol analyzer, signal generators, Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR).
- Knowledge and understanding of how to utilize hand tools, skill saws, drills, socket wrenches, pliers, civil engineering type tools/techniques-fork lift, cranes, booms, and man-lifts.
- Perform routine/corrective maintenance on digital data, computing, and processing equipment.
- Initiate and coordinate all subcontractors and vendor off-site and on-site repair activities.
- Possess an electronics background in Analog/Digital and Radio Frequency (RF) theory.
- Provides the necessary technical support to projects to meet modification and sustainment objectives with regards to site activity planning and execution.
- Provide end of day status report to the Govt. GPOC for all on-site depot maintenance actions.
- Manage repairs to the appropriate levels of performance and serviceable condition.
- Utilize maintenance and supply systems to track and report production and asset availability.
- Implement sustainment processes that include ATB testing and on-site testing, when applicable for all new hardware/software and upgrades or modifications to legacy equipment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience. 10 years related field engineering experience.
Security Clearance:
- Secret (or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance)
Basic Compensation:
- $105,000 – $125,000
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
