Performance Management 

Manage and report on the performance of the function / business area; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of annual business objectives.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

At a minimum the Job Holder should possess:

• Values aligned, passionate about global humanitarian aid, and able to lead engagement around both ongoing programs focused on unmet medical needs but also fast evolving emergency situations.
• Experience establishing a high growth plan (focused on people, processes and tools) to scale and grow a high performing principal and major gift program.
• Senior experience in managing big, diverse, and opinionated teams.
• Track record leading change to drive a culture of philanthropy.
• Track record of successful leadership experience in securing philanthropic support for not-for-profit institutions.
• Demonstrated success as a high-touch fundraiser; Successful in soliciting and closing gifts at the six-, seven, and eight-figure level.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a trusted strategic philanthropic advisor to an executive director and board.
• Knowledgeable about national philanthropy: cultural, business, social, and philanthropic communities.
• Demonstrated commitment to the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion and to building and leading a diverse team.

 

Travel Requirements 

Must be willing to travel for work as needed.

 

Compensation

$173,720 - $221,492 (based upon experience)
