Senior Business Partnerships Manager, APAC
Description
- Develop strategy and accounts across the APAC region
- Work with our Supplier REach clients and their supply chains to expand customer reach and client purchasing of renewable energy
- Create and manage business relationships with key accounts and ensure loyalty through excellent customer service, timely communication and follow through
- Prepare a monthly analysis on all substantial opportunities in new products or territories, and/or problems and report on performance to forecast objectives
- Identify and prioritize opportunities using your network, social media sites, research and other sources
- Generate leads through direct prospecting and networking efforts, including attending regional or national conferences
- Actively listen to and engage prospects, identifying needs, providing sustainability and renewable energy education and guide to a solution that best meets the needs communicated
- Manage a complex sales cycle from prospect identification through contract completion, ensuring accuracy in communication and documentation throughout the process
- Work cross-functionally, collaborating with various internal partners to ensure best-fit solutions and service excellence
- Deliver accurate, up-to-date sales forecasts and activity tracking in Salesforce
- Proactively contribute to continuous improvement, providing input on 3Degrees products, marketing strategies, sales improvements and team collaboration
- Stay abreast of the renewable energy industry, 3Degrees' competitors, new product offerings and pricing through 3Degrees staff, industry publications, webinars, etc.
- Expected travel approximately 40-60%
- Minimum of 6-8 years of outside sales experience in a solutions-based, complex selling environment
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience selling to VP, SVP, and C-suite level contacts
- Strong understanding of Environmental Attribute Certificate (EACs) sales ( IRECs, TIGRs, NFCs, etc) and/or Carbon Offsets required
- Experience selling energy or sustainability services (consulting support, solutions, SaaS, etc.) to major commercial customers
- A “hunter” with a proven track record of successful prospecting, identifying, and closing new business and managing a pipeline
- Professional development or training on value-based selling techniques and strategic solutions selling is a plus
- Experience selling products and services to multinationals
- Ability to develop strong customer relationships
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent education/relevant experience
- Candidates must be eligible to work and travel across APAC regions. Proof of eligibility will be a requirement of the hiring process
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of 3Degrees' business, strategic priorities, and the structure of the Business Development team
- Familiarize yourself with the systems, processes, and tools utilized for sales and team management
- Begin building strong cross-functional relationships with other leaders and key stakeholders within the organization
- Complete a detailed territory plan for sales execution, outlining strategic approaches for account development
- Hone skills in establishing new senior-level relationships across the APAC region
- Deepen understanding of customer sustainability goals in the region and effectively represent 3Degrees' suite of climate and renewable energy products and services
- Complete the full onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the team
- Demonstrate proficiency in leveraging networks, social media, and research to identify and prioritize opportunities
- Create and provide a monthly analysis of substantial opportunities in new products or territories, demonstrating an understanding of performance objectives
- Demonstrate strong opportunity pipeline building via execution of the agreed upon territory plan
- Successfully create high-level contacts at assigned organizations, fostering loyalty through excellent customer service, timely communication, and follow-through
- Establishing yourself as a subject matter expert in EACs, carbon offsets, and renewable energy consulting
- Develop a comprehensive strategic plan for the region, aligning with company goals and sales objectives for the assigned territory
- Achieve and exceed sales goals for the given territory, contributing to the overall success of the business development team
- Proactively contribute to continuous improvement, providing valuable input on 3Degrees' products, marketing strategies, and sales approach
- Establish yourself as a key player in the renewable energy industry, staying abreast of industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings
