Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the drivers & technicians have the proper training and equipment to perform their duties safely.
- Listen to all concerns and act on them appropriately as they relate to: Safety, ability to perform duties effectively, opportunities that would increase efficiency for both the Company and the Customer
- Develop personal training plans for each employee to ensure they are adequately trained in multiple areas of the business.
- Coordinate the daily assignment of company resources to maximize equipment utility while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Coordinate the servicing and inspection of equipment daily with the shop personnel.
- Ensure the look of the equipment is consistent with Irving Values and image.
- Ensure that the employees have adequate time to perform duties safely and within the Hours of Work regulations.
- Assign the proper equipment for the jurisdiction and the job requirements.
- Ensure employees are qualified and trained to perform duties.
- Manage incidents through site safe. Complete any investigations as necessary.
- Ensure the fleet is operating within all regulatory bodies and with the policies and procedures of Irving Oil
- Development and management of annual budget
- Long- and short-term planning of fleet initiatives and strategy

Education and experience
- Post-secondary education in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in industry related management preferred.
