Your Role:
-
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot oil and propane-fired boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and oil tanks.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve problems that occur by reviewing diagnostics and using the proper tools to complete repairs.
-
Provide final inspections of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely.

Complete appropriate daily paperwork for each service call.
-
Maintain daily and yearly inventory.
-
Ensure the service truck is in good working order and reliable.
-
Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity.

Rotational on call evenings and weekends.
Your Skills:
-
Ability to work well with others; good organization and communication skills; attention to detail and strong customer service.
-
Frequent driving, climbing in and out of vehicle and working in confined spaces. Heavy lifting and ability to work at heights ranging up to 50 ft.
-
Ability to install various types of heating equipment.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

Strong decision-making skills
Your Experience:
-
A valid Propane or natural gas license. Nora Certification is an asset.
-
Knowledge of wiring and plumbing is required.
-
Previous heating technician experience preferred.
