- You will use JavaScript, Nodejs, and React to develop new app features and APIs that help borrowers with repaying their loans
- You will use your coding and problem-solving skills to solve complex and interesting problems in the world of Fintech
- Every engineer at Summer reviews code and helps other team members find bugs and write better production code
- You will use your DB skills to help the team investigate bugs and edge cases in the product
- You will use your system design skills to help us plan our next big features and future products
Recommended Experience
We are seeking an experienced software engineer with 2-5+ years of application, data, and platform experience. We will be evaluating your track record of building and maintaining code in a production environment, as well as your experience architecting data models and scaling products at a software company. If you have relevant experience and are excited about fintech innovation at a company that’s breaking down barriers to higher education, we’d love to chat!
Technologies we use: Node, Postgres, React, Redux (and Python for our data team)
The base salary for this role is likely to fall between $110,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience, and will include equity and a full range of benefits.
