About Your Role
As an Investment Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the team’s daily publication process and ensuring the team is hitting its strategic goals. To do this well, you will partner with the team’s Project Manager as the ‘air traffic controller’ of the team. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative, operational and project management activities. You will help set goals, brainstorm execution, project manage multiple initiatives, and coordinate directly with the team and internal stakeholders ranging from administrative assistants to senior leaders. You will be the first point of contact for daily publication requests, vetting them, and filtering them up.
Without the Investment Project Coordinator position, the team doesn’t run. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and great at time management. You must communicate professionally, enjoy problem solving, and thrive in a dynamic, relationship-driven environment.
You will drive the following responsibilities:
- Own all operations across our key daily publication – drive execution, provide direction, and project manage initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
- Act as the first point of contact for all incoming inquiries (internal and external) and provide high quality and professional responses (knowing who to pull in, as needed).
- Enable the goals of the daily publication/ team by translating the strategic goals into an organized cadence for the team, including administrative and calendar support.
- Facilitate synchronization and communication across the teams by tracking and reporting on status of key activities and keeping dashboards up to date.
- Track team metrics and synthesize the key points to the team and other relevant stakeholders.
- Partner with the team Project Manager on Strategic Projects to improve departmental operations.
- Partner with the PM as the Bridgewater interface with external consultants and production support.
You will be a click for the role if you:
- Ability to orchestrate and prioritize multiple activities at once while maintaining high quality work.
- Enjoy solving problems using logic and common sense to develop practical solutions.
- Are a team player who can learn quickly and who can proactively seek to improve efficiency and quality.
- Ability to work through a high volume of demands in a timely and high-quality way.
- Can take direction and run with it to get results.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity (at a very high level).
- Anticipate and resolve problems efficiently and independently.
- Prefers interpersonal interactions, unafraid to engage with others, and shows empathy while excelling at stakeholder management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Effective written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high quality work while operating in a fast-paced environment.
- A high degree of proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel; general comfort with learning and using new software tools.
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record preferred.
- Experience in financial services or a professional business environment is a plus, though not required.
Physical Requirements
For most of our roles, Bridgewater offers remote work flexibility, with most employees required to work on campus as their principal work location, a minimum of two days (and in some cases three days) per week with the option to work offsite on other days.
