About the Human Resources Department
The Human Resources Department has started to move from a renovation to a transformative phase by a continued focus on operational excellence and providing value to the customer. Today, Human Resources services span the gamut between providing basic information to employees regarding policies to partnering with managers to think through human capital implications. Through focused and interdepartmental initiatives, the Human Resources Department has moved towards automation and centralization of transactional work to create efficiencies and to raise the level of service offered to the enterprise.
About Your Role:
We are currently seeking an exceptional HR Analytics professional to join the People Analytics team at Bridgewater. The People Analytics team is dedicated to building and delivering data-driven insights that better enable our business strategies and talent goals. In this role, you will work closely with numerous senior stakeholders, including the Head of Total Rewards, Chief Human Resources Officer, and our people leaders, to evolve how we leverage People Analytics at Bridgewater using a rigorous, data-first approach. We are looking for someone with the ability to build and translate data analytics into insights to support decision-making across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be curious and inquisitive, have strong critical thinking and analytical skills, the ability to synthesize data into insights, effective people skills, and experience working with business stakeholders.
You will be a key contributor with responsibilities such as:
- Synthesize key employee-driven analytics to Bridgewater’s senior leadership
- Support data-rich performance and compensation processes
- Drive our bi-annual employee engagement surveys from design to synthesis
- Enable specific talent strategies by working with leaders and managers across the company to deliver fresh, data-driven insights
- Actively scope out process improvements and work independently to transform them
- Maintain and enhance our data infrastructure & architecture using SQL
We are looking for candidates with the following minimum qualifications:
- 5+ years’ relevant work experience in a high-intensity, deliverable-focused, and fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Excel required
- Preference given to candidates with advanced skills in analytical tools (SQL, PowerBI)
- Experience leveraging data to answer complex human capital-oriented questions and translating them into a clear story
- Ability to independently own workstreams and consistently maintain and evolve them
- Proven track record of handling and maintaining highly confidential information
- Experience working closely with and interfacing with senior stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree with quantitative-focused major or equivalent preferred
Physical Requirements
For most of our roles, Bridgewater offers remote work flexibility, with most employees required to work on campus as their principal work location, a minimum of two days (and in some cases three days) per week with the option to work offsite on other days.
Compensation
The wage range for this role is $155,000 - $255,000 inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80% - 90% of this wage range.
