Responsibilities:
Work closely with the R&D team, sales team to Emulate customer environments, support customer needs, and debug issues they
encounter.
Work closely with key customers to optimize Semtech AMW Wireless solutions for the target application and become the technical lead to support design-in activity through interfacing with customers, FAEs and Sales.
Developing firmware for our evaluation hardware as well as proof of concepts used to demonstrate our products to customers
Visit customer’s site to provide technical support and secure the design.
Perform detailed competitive analysis based on documentation analysis and lab measurements.
Hold technical trainings to sales/reps/distis/partners.
Low to Moderate Travel required – up to 15%.
Required Skills:
Experience with Microcontrollers and peripherals,
Experience on RF Transceivers (LoRa/FSK/GFSK)
Experience in programming the following communication interfaces SPI, I2C and UART.
Excellent microcontroller debugging skills - Experience with debugging tools, including but not limited to oscilloscopes, Spectrum analyzers, digital logic analyzers, digital multimeters, etc.
Development experience with FreeRTOS, Zephyr, and Bare Metal MCU development
Experience with LoRa/LoRaWAN or any Wireless/LPWAN technologies is advantageous but not mandatory.
Self-driven, strong troubleshooting skills as well as adhering to project deadlines and business objectives.
Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
and share technical knowledge with colleagues.
Possesses strong communication skills, capable of interfacing effectively at all organizational levels, with a thorough command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience with embedded systems development (which includes hardware and firmware)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering or related degree
Good analog and mixed signal circuitry knowledge with hands-on experience in system, PCB design and lab setups.
