JOB SUMMARY
This role supports Inventory Management across all ONEOK businesses, using Oracle and associated software platforms.Standing (recurrent) tasks include:
i. Month-end closing and month-start opening of the Inventory and Purchasing Periods
ii. Weekly Cycle Count Report creation, review, and distribution
iii. Weekly Inventory KPI reporting, distribution, and action-item follow-up
Ongoing responsibilities include:
i. Material Item Master creation, revision, and inactivation
ii. Supplier Master creation, revision, and inactivation
iii. Data Mining and Data Organization for specialty reports
iv. Transfer of Assets within Oracle
v. Investigate Cost Accounting Discrepancies of inventory-related transactions
vi. Perform specific Data-Mining research and analysis assigned by management
Back-up responsibilities include:
i. Cross-training to perform the essential tasks of the Fleet Management and Logistics Management Analysts roles.
ii. Cross-training to ensure other team members can perform your essential tasks.
iii. Review, revise, and, when needed, create desktop procedures for your role.
Job Profile Summary
Develops, documents, trains, implements and coordinates storeroom materials management and inventory control practices with customers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Use inventory-control methods and system tools to monitor and evaluate inventories in order to keep them at optimal levels; forecast future material requirements; manage processes and practices related to inventory movement, replenishment, and accuracy; and maintain inventory control and performance reporting
- Assist in development and maintenance of ERP materials management system applications; identify areas for modification or enhancement; and participate in testing, documentation, and implementation of changes. Provide training to system users
- Provide information and technical assistance to ERP system users, stores employees, accounting employees, information technology employees, suppliers, and others relative to purchasing and stores procedures
- Compile, prepare, and/or approve information and reports including but not limited to:
- Inventory usage reports
- Inventory performance reports
- Manuals
- Material requisitions
- Equipment requisitions
- Correspondence
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related function, or equivalent experience in the following job-related functions:
Work Experience
- Experience and knowledge of materials management processes and basic inventory control methods such as inventory replenishment, cycle counting, ABC analysis, and accounting debit/credit standards
- Experience in use and function of office equipment including microcomputers and applicable software
- Experience and/or training related to:
- Materials management and inventory control
- Storeroom operations and logistics
- Purchasing and cost management
- Spreadsheet, word processing, and database applications (such as Excel, Word, Access)
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Experience prioritizing workload and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Experience interacting, advising, assisting, persuading, and communicating effectively
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of: and experience with project activities that include elements of process controls, practice development, compliance and performance management
- Knowledge of: organizational structure, operations, policy utilization, and standards applicable to support of processes and services such as materials management functions
- Ability to: apply math and algebra
- Ability to: develop information and make presentations

Licenses and Certifications
- Certification by ISM (Institute for Supply Management) preferred or
- APICS (The Education Society for Resource Management) preferred

Expected Salary Range
$62,000.00 - $92,000.00
