Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Lead Data Analyst to join our team at R2Net. This is an exciting role for an experienced technical and business contributor to impact our strategic direction by transforming data into actionable insights. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing Analytics and partnering with leaders across R2Net, James Allen and Blue Nile, the Lead Data Analyst will serve as an inside consultant to support investment decisions, grow customer value and improve customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-depth and actionable data analytics in support of key business outcomes related to customer and revenue growth, pricing and promotional optimization, and operational effectiveness
- Source and explore relevant data attributes, perform quality control checks, analyze data, and formulate findings into a clear and comprehensive story for key stakeholders
- When appropriate, deliver focused reporting solutions by scoping relevant data layers and designing impactful data visualizations
- Continuously improve our order attribution program so investment decisions are supported by the highest-quality insights
- Partner with data engineering teams to deliver high-quality data; serve as a data SME and educate business stakeholders on our data assets
- Support the development of data standards and ensure accuracy of KPIs calculated from source data (i.e., visitor, customer, order, revenue, etc.)
- Participate in the development of business cases for business enhancements such as market sizing, scenario testing, and impact assessments
- Recommend new technologies, process improvements and reporting tools to improve access to data and insights among stakeholders
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, social sciences or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, ideally as a contributor in an omni-channel consumer retail business (i.e., jewelry, fashion, or similar) with a strong e-commerce presence
- Well-versed in the development and application of retail and ecommerce metrics, experimental design principles, performance marketing, CRM, and ecommerce operations
- Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, leveraging data warehousing technology like Snowflake, and working with programming languages like SQL & Python
- Working knowledge of platforms such as GA4, Emarsys, Optimizely, Quantum Metrics or similar platforms
- Deep appreciation for quality, timeliness and collaboration
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
- Experience with building supervised and unsupervised models to aid in finding insights or activating customers
- Emerging people leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide work of others is a plus

Annual base pay: $90,000 - $140,000. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
