CBS O&O in Dallas (KTVT) is looking for a dynamic and enterprising Multi Skilled Journalist. The MSJ will produce content for all platforms in a manner that is accurate, engaging, and meaningful to news consumers.
MSJs are responsible for enterprising content and delivering a story from start to finish.
Must shoot, write, edit, and have knowledge of how to integrate news graphics into packages.
The candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues that arise in the field.
Must also have a dynamic on-air presence and the ability to deliver final news product creatively and concisely.
Candidates must be engaged digitally and understand how to utilize multi-platform content distribution.
Physical Demands: Must be able to carry and set up a camera on a tripod, have knowledge of how to light interview subjects, and how to operate edit software with speed and accuracy.
Candidate must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record in order to operate a company vehicle.
Experience working with Inews and Grass Valley is desired.
Knowledge of the DFW area is extremely helpful.
Journalism or allied degree preferred.
