Role Summary:
Flowserve is looking for a motivated technician to work in the Advance Product development (APD) group. This technician will assist the Production support team with RMAs/RCAs analysis and also provide support to Electrical Engineers with all aspects of product design, development, and testing.
This is an internship, to work for 3-4 months. The selected candidate must be able to start immediately.
Location: Springville, UT
Responsibilities
Prototype builds – Soldering and assembly.
Validation testing of systems and individual components
Root cause analysis (RCA) support
Troubleshoot returns and generate technical reports
Electronic component lifecycle management support
Requirements
Currently working towards or recently completed BS EE or BS EET or closely related field.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, printed circuit board layouts, and bill of materials.
Proficient with Office 365 Suite tools
Proficient with using digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
LabView programming
Printed circuit board methodology and tools
Arduino programming and applications
Analog and Digital testing methods including data acquisition hardware.
