We are currently searching for a Clinical Assistant at our OrthoCarolina Boone office location.
The Clinical Assistant is responsible for providing and coordinating orthopedic patient care which includes performing routine office procedures and testing, participating in patient teaching, communicating effectively with others, and assisting the physician/mid-level provider in the delivery of patient care.
Additional responsibilities as a Clinical Assistant include:
- Updating clinical notes in electronic medical systems
- Completing phone triage
- Casting and bracing
- Performing routine office procedures
- Providing patient education

Additional requirements as a Clinical Assistant include:
- Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, nursing or a college degree in a related field
- Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, current nursing license, ATC Board certification, EMT Licensure
- New graduates are welcome
- 2 -3 years of clinical assistant experience preferred
